Welcome to the Pinnacle Perspective, a short product update from Pinnacle AI. Today's update is about calendar bookings and a small detail that can cause a real headache. Say someone books an appointment and adds a guest. Maybe it's a spouse, a property manager, a coworker, or the person who actually needs to be on site. Before, guest details were limited to name and email. If that email was wrong, or if your team needed a phone number, follow-up could get messy fast. Now guest management and calendars gives you more control over what you collect. When you create or edit a calendar, you can go into the calendar settings, open the advanced settings, and look under form and confirmation. From there, turn on add guest, choose to collect guest details, and pick which details you want to ask for. So instead of only grabbing a name and email, you can collect better contact info when you need it, including phone numbers. Here's what changes day to day. If a customer books at 8 40 p.m. and adds another person to the appointment, Pinnacle AI can create or match a contact record for that guest using their email or phone number. That means your team has a cleaner record to work from when it's time to confirm, reschedule, or follow up. For existing calendars, nothing changes unless you change it. Guest data collection stays the same, so your current booking flow doesn't get disrupted. For new calendars, the default guest details will be name, email, and phone. That gives you stronger contact records from the start. There's also a time zone improvement. Guest contacts created during booking will now inherit the primary contacts time zone, and if that guest already exists as a contact, their current time zone stays as is. The main point is control. You decide what guest information matters for that calendar. The system can help create or match the contact record, but the human part still matters.
