The version that matches what's currently on your workflow canvas is easy to identify because that card is marked with a purple border. So as you continue working with the AI assistant, you can always tell which AI generated version is currently active. If you prompt the AI to make another change, a new card appears for that updated version. The purple border moves to the newest active version, and the previous version becomes restorable from its card menu. That means you can move back to an earlier AI iteration with a single click. Even better, restoring an older version does not destroy the newer ones. Your iterations remain available, so you can move back and forth freely without worrying that one restore action will erase your progress. This update also connects directly with version history. From any AI generated card, you can choose to show that iteration in version history. There, both AI created versions and manual versions appear together in one unified timeline. Version history remains the single source of truth for version numbering, so everything stays organized in one place. For users building automations and workflows in Pinnacle AI CRM, this is a big improvement. You can be more confident when asking the AI assistant to make bold edits, try different workflow structures, or refine an automation. If the change works, great. If it doesn't, you can simply restore a previous iteration and keep moving. It removes the fear of losing work while keeping your full version timeline clear and accessible. So the next time you use the workflow AI builder, just prompt the AI assistant as usual. Each build or edit will create a card in the chat, the active version will be clearly marked, and older iterations will be available to restore or view in version history.
