This enhancement gives businesses, agencies, educators, and membership-based organizations more control over how long certificates and credential documents remain valid. Users can now set credentials to expire on a fixed date, after a relative timeframe such as 3 to 36 months, or choose no expiration at all. The update also includes configurable reminders to help teams stay ahead of renewals and reduce manual follow-up. For organizations managing certifications, training programs, or memberships, this feature provides greater flexibility, improves administrative efficiency, and helps keep credential workflows aligned with real business needs. Welcome back to the Pinnacle Perspective, the podcast where we cover the latest updates and improvements inside Pinnacle AI CRM. Today, we're looking at a helpful new update for anyone using certificates and credential templates, custom credential expiring options. This feature gives you more control over how long issued credentials stay valid, which can significantly reduce the amount of manual admin work your team has to manage. Here's the idea. Instead of every certificate following a one-size-fits-all expiration setup, you can now choose an expiration date that actually fits your needs. That might be a specific fixed date, a relative duration based on when the credential is issued, or even no expiration at all. Inside Pinnacle AI CRM, you'll find this in the membership section under the credentials tab. From there, you can choose the certificate or document you want to update, open its options, and set the expiry. If you want a custom expiration date, simply choose the custom date option, enter the date you want, and save it. The update also includes quick selection options for common timeframes, ranging from three months to 36 months. These are especially useful when you want credentials to expire a certain amount of time after they're issued, without having to manually calculate dates each time. Another helpful part of this update is configurable reminders. These reminders can be set while you're configuring the expiration, helping reduce surprises when credentials are getting close to expiring. For businesses, agencies, and educators using Pinnacle AI CRM to manage memberships and certifications, this means more flexibility and less follow-up work. You can encourage learners to return and renew certifications when needed, or issue permanent credentials when expiration simply isn't necessary. Overall, custom credential expiration gives you full control over how your certificates stay valid, whether that's forever, until a specific date, or for a set duration after issue. That's it for this update on the Pinnacle Perspective. Thanks for listening, and we'll catch you next time with more product improvements from Pinnacle AI CRM.
