In this episode of The Pinnacle Perspective... we introduce the new “User Replied” goal type inside Pinnacle AI CRM. This update helps workflows respond when a team member steps into a conversation, allowing contacts to move directly to a Goal step once the right user reply occurs. Businesses, marketers, and agencies can choose which channels count as replies and whether responses should come from any user, the assigned user, or specific team members. The result is cleaner automation, fewer duplicate messages, and a smoother transition from automated follow-up to human-led communication. For teams managing active conversations, this feature helps ensure workflows stay aligned with what is actually happening with each contact. Welcome back to the Pinnacle Perspective, the product update podcast for Pinnacle AI CRM users who want to get more out of their automations, workflows, and customer conversations. Today's update is all about making your workflows respond more naturally to your team's actions, not just your customers' activity. In many automations, there comes a point where a real person on your team steps in and replies to a contact. And when that happens, you may not want the contact to keep moving through the rest of the automated steps. After all, once a human conversation has started, more automated messages can feel unnecessary, repetitive, or even a little confusing. That's where the new user-replied goal type comes in. With this update inside Pinnacle AI CRM, you can move a contact immediately to the goal step as soon as someone on your team responds. That means the contact can skip the intermediate workflow actions that no longer make sense once your team has taken over the conversation. Here's how it works in simple terms. When you're setting up a workflow, you can add a goal action and choose user replied as the goal type. From there you decide which response channels should count. You can include all response channels or narrow it down to specific ones by selecting only the channels you want the workflow to watch for. You also bit control over who the reply needs to come from. For example, you can allow a reply from any user to trigger the goal. You can limit it to the assigned user. Or if you want to be more specific, you can choose particular team members whose responses should count. Once that's configured, Pinnacle AI CRM can recognize when the right kind of team response happens, and then move the contact directly to the goal step. The biggest benefit here is cleaner communication. If your team has already replied to a contact, you can prevent that person from continuing through automated messages that may no longer be relevant. That helps reduce duplicate communication, avoid sending mixed signals, and creates a smoother handoff from automation to a real human-led conversation. It's also helpful for contact management. If your team hasn't responded yet, you can better control whether contacts continue moving through the workflow, pause at the right time, or avoid feeling misdirected by messages that don't match what's actually happening. So, if your automations rely on your team stepping in at the right moment, the new user replied goal type gives you a more flexible way to manage that transition. That's it for this update on the Pinnacle perspective. Thanks for listening, and we'll see you next time with more improvements from Inside Pinnacle AI CRM.
