In this episode of The Pinnacle Perspective, we explore an update to Internal Notification workflow actions in Pinnacle AI CRM that gives teams more control over who gets notified when opportunity-related activity occurs. Businesses can now notify opportunity owners when using opportunity triggers, as well as include contact followers, opportunity followers, or both. This makes it easier to keep everyone involved in a deal or relationship informed, even if they are not the official contact owner. For agencies, marketers, and sales teams managing collaborative pipelines, this update reduces manual communication, simplifies workflow setup, and helps ensure important updates reach the right people automatically. Welcome back to the Pinnacle Perspective, the podcast where we cover the latest updates inside Pinnacle AI CRM and what they mean for your team. Today's update is all about internal notifications, especially for teams that collaborate on contacts and opportunities they may not directly own. In many businesses, the person working a deal, supporting a contact, or following an opportunity is not always the official owner. And when something important changes, those teammates still need to know about it. This update gives you more flexibility in who can be notified from an internal notification workflow action. Here's what's new. If you're using an opportunity trigger in Pinnacle AI CRM and your notification is set to the assigned owner user type, you can now include opportunity owners. That means your workflows can directly notify the person responsible for the opportunity, not just the contact owner. You can also notify followers. So, in addition to the main recipient, you can turn on notifications for contact followers, opportunity followers, or both. This is especially useful when multiple people are keeping an eye on the same relationship or deal. Setting it up is simple. Inside your workflow, you'll start by choosing a trigger from the opportunities options. Then you'll add an internal notification action. From there, you choose the notification type, set the user type to assigned owner, and then select the owner type you want to include. Once that's configured, Pinnacle AI CRM can notify contact owners and followers, opportunity owners and followers, or all of them together through the same internal notification action. The big benefit here is cleaner communication. Instead of manually mentioning teammates, creating extra workflow branches, or worrying that the wrong person missed an update, you can keep the right people informed automatically. For marketers, agencies, and sales teams managing busy pipelines, this helps make collaboration smoother and keeps everyone aligned around the contacts and opportunities they care about. That's it for this update on the Pinnacle Perspective. Thanks for listening, and we'll be back soon with more improvements from inside Pinnacle AI CRM.
