Today's update is all about making coupons smarter and more precise, so you can drive the right sales without over discounting. Coupons used to be either on or off for whole products. Now you can target discounts down to the exact price or variant of a product. That means you can offer a promo on a specific size, color, or price point without touching the rest of the product lineup. Using it is straightforward. In Pinnacle AI CRM, go to the payments area and open the coupons tab. Create a new coupon as you normally would. And when you reach the usage rules and restrictions, look for the option to limit the coupon to selected products. Click to browse your catalog, open a product, and then choose the specific variants or price points you want the coupon to apply to. It's a few clicks and you're done. No need to duplicate products or remove variants to make a discount work the way you want. Why this matters? First, you get much more control. Instead of blanket discounts, you can be surgical about which SKUs get the deal. Second, setup is simpler. No more workaround gymnastics like cloning products just to make a coupon behave. Third, workflows and triggers have been updated to support this granularity. Triggers such as coupon code applied and coupon code redeemed now include dependent filters that recognize these more specific coupon rules, so your automations stay accurate. One thing to note, existing coupons will continue to behave as they have. The new logic applies to newly created coupons, any coupons you update, and future orders, so you can adopt this feature without disrupting your current flow. That's it for this update.
